Professor Melinda Reichelt received a grant from the Fulbright Senior Scholars program to visit the University of Lodz, Poland. She was for several weeks this summer. While in Lodz, Professor Reichelt consulted with Łukasz Salski to evaluate the university’s English-language writing curriculum and to consult about starting an English-language writing center. Additionally, she delivered a plenary address entitled “Foreign and Second Language Writing: Challenges and Opportunities” at the FLOW (Foreign Language Opportunities in Writing) Conference, which took place May 13-15 at the University of Lodz. She also met with students and faculty and taught several classes while there.
